Sometimes you
just need a minute.
Open Meditation at Ocean Tide is a place to come when you want some quiet.
No class. No teacher. Nothing to keep up with.
Just come in. Take a place to sit. Stay awhile.
WHAT IS OPEN MEDITATION?
Quiet.
On your own terms.
Open Meditation isn't a scheduled meditation class.
During Open Meditation hours, the room is simply open and quiet.
Come in when you like and leave when you're ready.
Meditate. Journal. Breathe. Think. Don't think.
You don't have to know how to meditate.
You don't actually have to do anything.
NO MAT.
NO REGISTRATION.
NO EXPERIENCE.
NOTHING TO PROVE.
Chairs, meditation chairs, cushions and bolsters are waiting.
Take a place that feels comfortable.

HOW IT WORKS
Walk in.
Check in when you arrive.
Choose a chair, cushion, bolster or a spot on the floor.
Settle in.
Stay for ten minutes or stay awhile.
Leave when you're ready.
That's it.

WHY COME SIT?
I need a minute.
We get it.
I can't hear myself think.
We get it.
I just need a moment to myself.
We get it.
I just want some peace and quiet.
We get it. Come sit.

ONE SIMPLE RULE
Quiet, please.
Open Meditation is shared quiet space.
Phones, exercise and conversation should be kept outside the meditation room.
You're welcome to meditate, journal, reflect or simply sit.
